Fully digital and adaptive, about 2 hr 14 min, two sections (Reading & Writing, Math), scored 400-1600, taken in the Bluebook app with a built-in Desmos calculator. We prep the format students actually face.
College Admissions
Shorter (about 2 hours for the core test), scored 1-36. The Composite now comes from English, Math, and Reading. Science is optional, and we help you decide whether to add it.

Good Questions
Yes. As of 2024, US students take the Digital SAT on a laptop or tablet in the College Board’s Bluebook app. It is shorter and adaptive, but still scored on the same 400 to 1600 scale colleges have always used. Our tutors prep students for the digital format specifically.
Most colleges accept either, and neither is easier. It comes down to which format fits your student. We can run a short diagnostic of each, compare the results, and recommend the better fit so you are not guessing.
Yes. Science no longer counts toward the ACT Composite, but it still matters for many STEM-focused applicants. We help your family decide whether to include it, and we prep your student either way.
Earlier is better. Most families begin a few months before the target test date so there is time to build skills, take full practice tests, and reduce stress. For the HSPT and private-school exams, the spring or summer before applications is ideal.
Yes. The HSPT is the most common Catholic high school entrance exam and is used at Providence High School in Burbank and others across the LA area. We prep the HSPT, COOP, and TACHS, plus the ISEE and SSAT for independent schools.
