Then, our customized online academic summer camp is exactly what you have been looking for!
We begin with an interview in which you let us know about any concerns you may have regarding your child’s education or academic progress. Then, we do our own assessments to determine strengths and weaknesses in your child’s mastery of both reading and math for the appropriate grade level. Based on the results of the assessments, a customized program is created by an experienced teacher who is expert at creating individualized programs to meet a child’s specific needs. Then, a schedule is worked out for your child to meet with a tutor as often as needed to address the issues found.
Our online platform and tutoring experience is most likely different from anything your child has experienced previously. With our system, your child will get live, one-to-one, individualized instruction and attention from an experienced teacher. All of our instructors are experienced teachers/tutors with years of classroom experience as well as one-to-one individual tutoring experience. Students are NOT expected to simply sit and listen to a teacher speak or give a presentation. Instead, your child’s live, interactive experience will encourage him or her to talk, ask questions, be engaged and get involved in actively working together with the tutor to increase their education level. We want your child to revitalize his or her curiosity and desire to learn!
Prepare for an Upcoming Challenging Class
In addition to reviewing a previously challenging class or subject, we can also help a student prepare for an upcoming class that you anticipate he or she may find challenging.
Common Example: A student graduating from elementary school to middle school that does not like to write or finds writing difficult. Working with a writing specialist on a one-to-one basis will help the student to overcome reservations or anxiety associated with writing. The aim would be to get the student to the point of enjoying the experience of writing and then gently increase his or her skill level to what is needed for the next grade.
Another common example: a high school student going into geometry in the fall. An introduction and orientation to the subject could give the student an advantage over other students by gaining an understanding of the subject before starting the class.

By attending our camp, children can advance academically, catch up with what they should have learned last year or prepare for the next school year.
